Consistent High Blood Sugars

I have had T1D for 9 months now. The last week or so my blood sugar had been between 240-340 mg/dl and I can't get it to come down. What should I do?

Hello,

this is late reply.  Sorry. But if sugars are so high you need to make correction injections with insulin.

Also you should see your dr to rule out infection or any other cause of having such high blood sugars.

How are you doing now?

Check your sugar more often and watch the foods you eat because certain foods can spike your sugar and keep it elevated. Also talk to your physican about adjusting your insulin doses based on ur levels. Make sure you keep a log book so the doc can see all your highs ... Hope that helps
