I agree with everyone above that you should be checked out. The fasting level is into the pre-diabetic range which begins over 100 (126 is considered diabetic). You definitely show a high response to the sugar and so an OGTT test would be warrented.
They do look a bit high. You might be pre-diabetic. Go to the doctor and ask for some tests.
It seems that you have a normal fasting glucose level and poor glucose tolerance.
In general, the blood sugar shouldn't over 200 mg/dl
Go for a doctor and have a blood sugar tolerance test.
Of course, make sure your blood sugar meter works fine first.
Maybe it is just the machine's problem.
I agree with the previous posting. Normal pre-meal blood sugar levels should be between 70-146, according to most articles I have read. However, even healthy people can find that blood sugar levels rise above this occasionally if they eat high-glucose foods. In your case, the high reading COULD (mere speculation here) be due to having the hypoglycemic episode before you ate the candy bar. Most people will dump emergency sugars into their system from the liver as a result of an extended period of low glucose as the body's way of attempting to fix the problem. If this happened, and you also ate the candy bar, the result could easily have been a high reading at that time. A glucose tolerance test could show whether your body reacts too strongly to glucose, and a hemoglobin a1c test could show whether your average glucose levels are running normal or not over the past few months. This is really the best test to see if your glucose levels are healthy or not, for they do change from hour to hour and any one test can have a misleading reading. Perhaps you should see your doctor and have these tests run just to be on the safe side and to have some basic info about your glucose levels entered into your medical records in case things change at a later date.
I am not a physican, biut the mom of a type 1 diabetic and the daughter if a type 2.
I would suggest you make an appointment to see your doctor and have him/her run somesimple blood test to see what is going on.. Differnet foods, can effedcty ou tr blood sugars along with activity. a few readings with a meter can not determine if you are a diabetic.
Sorry I could not be of more help
