I have been feeling really exhausted and unsteady and spaced out everyday and very cold at times, lightheaded/dizziness, heart palps and out of it like not mentally clear, like in a fog and awful head sensations and a vertigo feeling as if i am swaying/rocking/sinking.. I went to doctor and was told im having hypoglycemic reactions but im not truly hypoglycemic, do to poor diet and anxiety and she doesnt think i'll fall low enough to have a seizure or coma. .
I am certain something is going on.. I went and bought a meter (the relion prime) because I feel that bad, well if i have allot of carbs like oatmeal or subway i spike at 150-160 then fall down to 70-mid 80's.. normal readings for high carb intake.. well fasting blood sugar has been as low at 67 some days, when i had lab check ups i ate two pancakes before getting blood drawn for complete blood panel etc.. well my glucose on that was 68 and i had the pancakes 1 hour before.
Every 2 hours i crash and after i eat i can get my blood sugar in the 80's/90's sometimes around 113 unless im carbing out then get the spike, a piece of wheat bread and handful of peanuts bring me up to 98 and hold me 4 hours with only dropping to 77 with symptoms. i have had a reading as low as 66 after eating just oatmeal and almonds in a 3 hour period. this morning i had plain oatmeal and a couple strawberries, at 45 minutes i was at 151 at 1 (15 mins later then first test) hour i was at 112.. i know these sound like normal readings but why am i feeling the hypoglycemia symptoms? and would this be reactive hypoglycemia.. sorry this is long trying to add as much info as i can.. im 5'5" 108 lbs so im underweight if this could be a cause. i know meters can be off so maybe im lower then what the reading says or are they pretty accurate with the lower readings?
Thankyou for anyone who read. again sorry this is long.and any help/input will be appreciated greatly
