What do people have problems with most? What products are good and bad?

I am a product design student, currently undertaking a brief to help people live with type1 diabetes.   As a type1 diabetic myself, I feel motivated to help this cause.   I know myself what problems I have with diabetes, but it would be a great help to find out what aspects other people struggle with, and what products needs improving.

Thanks for your time.

I think my biggest problem is with my meter.  I get frustrated with how it can be off by a certain amount.  I also get frustrated with my numbers doing crazy things like dropping or rising by 100 points with no apparent reason.  I am very frustrated by many aspects of diabetes.  I don't think there is enough room on the forum for all the frustrations we feel.  I would also like my husband to have diabetes for just one day so he could relate better and be more sensitive to my needs.

My daughter doesn't mind the shots that much.... it's the testing she hates. She's hoping someone invents a noninvasive, easy way to test blood sugars. Lots of people are working on it, but no luck yet!
