DKA is Diabetic Ketoacidosis. It is an extremely dangerous condition which comes about from blood sugars being consistently extremely high as in 300s or higher. It makes you ill, often feels like the flu and if not treated can be fatal in a manner of days. It is not something to be posting on a website about. It is something to go to the ER. Now!

Even if it is not DKA, your wife is unable to get out of bed and you are posting to a website??? Get medical help.

Sounds like she needs to see a doctor right away, or be taken to an Emergency Room. Are her blood sugars extremely high? If so she might be experiencing DKA and needs to go to the ER right away.
