Can junk food and sweets cause diabetes

Hi, since i started forking in February I wasnt able to eat lunch on time , most of the time i dont have lunch at all and am extremely stressedc specially snce it is my first job. I tend to eat sweets and junl food at night , then last May i started noticing having diabetes symptoms .. Does it affect the body that fast? I am suffering as i am only to be tested on thursday and thinking that my habits caused my diabetes really breaks my heart because i could have controlled it.

No sugar and junk food are not what causes diabetes it is more genetic and if someone in your family has it then you are more likely to develop diabetes. Only thing you can do is check with your doctor and also plan your meals the night before for work and that'll keep you on a healthy path. Also don't eat 2 hours before bed it isn't good for you.
