Can you kill taste buds

Hi, I know there are a lot of people like me that just can't eat all that **** thats suppose to be good for you. I just can't stand the taste of the foods. The ONLY foods I really like are BAD. The doctors tell you to eat right and exercise. Well, as long as I can tast the food, I can't eat right (will power is a bunch of bull) and with rods in my back I can't do the exercise. So, the only thing I can come up with is to kill my taste buds. Does anyone know how to do that? I can't find a doctor that does. If I could not taste it I could not only eat right but also eat less. It would be win/win for me.  PLEASE HELP

I don't think you would really want to kill your taste buds, but, I understand that you don't like some of the healthy foods...if you are talking about veggies, there are ways to make them more palatable...herbs and spices help give them a better flavor.  Also, what about v8 juice, it has veggie juices with the main one being tomato juice and is really good when it's ice cold...diet v8 splash is another...you didn't say what foods that you don't like specifically, but, there are many ways to "doctor" them up to taste better!!  Please feel free to message me and discuss if you like...

I am not sure how to respond to your post. I will be very interested to see what type of advice (if any) you recive from our more frequent participants in this forum.

I assume you have discussed this with your doctor--and you have decided you just can't eat the "good food" that he/she recommend you eat or exercise. I have a number of health problems and still exercise. Moreover, as a physical therapy technician I have worked with patients with all type of disabilities. There are exercises that you can do even with rods in your back.

Please don't give up on healthy eating and exercise.
