You should discuss this with his doctor. Does he monitor his blood glucose at home before taking the insulin? I have not heard of someone attacking when their BG is too low, but that does not mean it couldn't happen. He could have a reaction to the fast acting insulin? Low induced rage does happen its not common but does happen.
Insulin lowers BG, if too much insulin is take then BG will go too low.
please dont ask how mush insulin is too much. each person needs a different amount of insulin. The amount needed depends on food eaten how much insulin a person makes, how much insulin resistance a person has and activity level and a countless other factors. testing BG and keeping a log of BG food (carbs,protien,fat, fiber) and activity, and insulin) will help to figure out.
