Feeling awful

Yesterday I posted a question... yesterday and today i have been eating "healthy foods" my morning glucose was 100 today instead of in the 130s like it has been. Now an hour after having lunch it is in the 130s, which is good, right? I dont understand what is going on. I feel terrible like I am about to pass out, terrible headache , my tongue feels heavy, i feel kindof twitchy all over but that doesnt go with my blood sugar because I should be feeling pretty good now?I dont understand what is going on and I am tired of feeling like this everyday. Any input?

I am using Accu-check aviva meter. The test strips code is 505 and that appears on the meter before it gives the prompt to place blood on strip. The strips expire 1/31/2010. Healthy foods have been grilled chicken,veggies, fruit, etc.  I am 5'5" and 145 pounds, 28 years old. One of my concerns with the doctor is that i gained over 15 pounds in a months time and I have not got the weight off (this was in July). I have always stayed around the same weight +/_ 3 pounds.  I have wanted to lose 20-30 pounds since finding this out but everytime I have tried to cut back on my eating i see black spots, arms and feet go numb, extremely tired, bladder infections all of the time, frequent urination... I should get the results next week

Please understand my reply from yesterday;

"The times to test are mornings before breakfast, before each lunch and dinner meals and 2-3 hours after each meal. Before meals so you can get a baseline reading. After meals so you can see how the foods you ate affected your glucose levels. Normal after meal levels are <180 mg/dl [<=less than] where some doctors want <140 mg/dl. If you go over these numbers avoid those foods."

Testing one hour after a meal results in a false positive.

Questions:
1. What is the make/model of your meter?
2. Does your meter calibrate to test strips?
3. Do the test strips have an expiration date?
4. What is "healthy foods"? Do they the fall into the low GI category

6. Any physical exercise?

Have you obtained your A1c results? In the meantime try to follow the testing guidelines previously stated. Go to your Profile page and start a tracker or keep a written log at home. Something to keep track of your foods and glucose.
