Diabetic Type II, Nursing and weight loss

I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes (diet controlled) after my second child. I am 36 and struggling with two things. I have lost all my pregnancy weight and still losing. I am down to 100 pounds. My height is 5’ 2” and a small frame. I am also nursing my 7 month old still. How much weight can I loose without being worried? I get upset that people say things like …I am lucky.

My second question is I have been struggling keeping my blood sugar high enough during the day. I will drop down sometimes to the 60’s. I even had a 59 the other day without any symptoms. I have been adding more carbs in diet to correct this but it seems I am poking and eating all the time lately. Is something changing now that I am loosing weight?

Oh, man you have no idea. I eat at least  four full big meals with snacks in between. Its frustrating. I am sure it has to do with me nursing. It must. I cant find any forums or anyone to help with the nursing part and Type II. No I am not on any meds. 4 months ago I never had lows and now its a daily occurance it seems. I wish there was an easy answer. If anyone can help....Ill take an suggestions...Anyone...

And not eating or not eating enough can cause lows. U need to eat durning the day to keep your Bs atable. 3 good and healthy meals and snack if need to keep the bs up. Are u on med's for the type 2?
