Ogtt results venous vs capillary which one is correct?

I need help as to which number I should go by my dr has told me I'm fine.
after an ogtt of 75 high gluclose drink my end 2 hour results were:

Vein draw: 115 and meter : 147.

I thought 147 was too high, which number do I use?

Any help is appreciated

The BG meter has an error of 20% so the meter reading of 147 - (147*0.2) =117.6

Could be ACTUALLY  117.6

So are you saying the lab is the number to by not the meter?
It is a bit high and my diet is super clean already and I'm actually 5 lbs underweight  so that Is even more to worry regarding numbers.especially since two hours lapsed.
So which is the accurate number the vein draw, both were taken 3 minutes apart.

Any additional clarification would help. Thank you

The laboratory will use the vein draw.  There is a lag time between what is seen in the vein and what is seen in the capillary.

147 is a bit high, but then 75g of glucose is quite a load.

I would think that you are early days if you are tending towards diabetes and instead of worrying about these numbers you should focus on getting and staying healthy; lower carb diet, eating natural and unprocessed foods, daily exercise, weight normalization if you are overweight.
