Type 2 diabetic

   Hi
I am a type 2 diabetic for about 8 years, the last couple of months my feet feel very tired,I wake up in the morning after 7-8 hrs. sleep and my legs feel tired like I walked 20 miles.
Does anybody have the same problem as me,or can tell me what to do?

You're welcome. Let us know how everything goes but try to keep your glucose levels under control to keep your "tired" feet from turning into neurothapy.

By the way, Zoelula is a gal, not a guy.

See your doctor for:
1. Physical checkup
2. Adolase test - Aldolase is an enzyme that helps break down certain sugars into energy. It is found in high amounts in muscle tissue. This test is done to diagnose or monitor muscle damage.

Perhaps someone who knows more about peripheral neuropathy than me can answer the question. Congratulations on managing your blood sugar now and keep up the good work. Do see your doctor and get evaluated for your leg problems and he will answer your questions as well.

You give no indication if your diabetes is well managed. Your leg problems could be a diabetic complication, especially if your diabetes has been out of control for 8 years. You should be seen by your physician and you should learn how to manage your blood sugar to minimize diabetic complications.
