Type 2 plus pregnancy

Does anyone else have type 2 diabetes with pregnancy? I'm not eating a ton of carbs but my numbers are still on the high side.

Here is some advice on managing diabetes while pregnant that may help you and your baby stay healthy! You can also find this in the Sugar Sense app (go to the bar menu in the upper left of the home screen and select Health Guide then scroll through the Stay Well section).

Hi,
insulin resistance increases during pregnancy and so numbers rise.  You can try further reducing carbs (stick to carbs from veges, full fat dairy, nuts, etc) to see if this helps.  A walk after eating may also help.

However, likely you should be discussing with your Doctor about medications.  most common medication used during pregnancy is insulin.  Do not be scared of insulin.  It is a great tool to get good blood sugars and to have a healthy baby.
