I would like to add by eating well-balanced meals in the correct amounts, along with moderate exercise (like walking) and weight control, you can keep your blood glucose level as close to normal (non-diabetes level) as possible.
Follow this link for some good advice along with recipes from the American Diabetes Association. You don't have to pay someone to read this free information. http://www.diabetes.org/nutrition-and-recipes/nutrition/overview.jsp

"i hear that diabetes fasting level is 140"
Yes, you would be considered a diabetic with this number. A fasting level above 126 mg/dl is considered diabetes;100 to 125 mg/dl fasting is considered prediabetes.

To answer your question,Yes. There are many issues one can face when they have been diagnosed with diabetes. One of the most frustrating is memory loss. Memory loss can occur in most people as they age. But sometimes, memory loss can be due to circulatory problems and hormonal changes in the body.

To prevent memory loss when a person has diabetes, one should change their diet to include foods with fiber, protein, and calcium that will stimulate blood flow and also help replace some of the nutrients lost. Exercise will also promote blood flow. Walking is an excellent exercise that does not put excess strain on the body, joints or limbs and helps to reduce glucose levels.
