"...the little carbs you ate, kept on circulating in your blood? and released through urine? "
What I believe is: carbs retain water. When you consume little carb, no water excess is needed and is therefore flushed out through urine. That's what happens in low-carb diet, people lose the water weight which makes it look like a real weight loss.
Could it be that doing a low carb diet, made your body get the energy from the proteins and fats, and since the body didn´t get the energy from glucose, the little carbs you ate, kept on circulating in your blood? and released through urine?
"Will maintaining normal blood glucose help my prostate get better by itself?"
NO! If the enlarged tissue is cancerous it can and will be life threatening. Go see your doctor today.
thank you everybody for the feedback. I suspected the prostate problem too. Is there any natural, non-drug treatment that I can use for treating prostate problems?
Will maintaining normal blood glucose help my prostate get better by itself?
Sounds like an enlarged prostate to me!
I agree as well. There could be some other underlying issue going on. Frequent urination also has dual symptoms with some other issues such as: Kidney stones, bladder conditions/infections, prostate issues, drinking too much coffee or other diuretic, and drinking too much alcohol. There are actually tons of other issues which can go on for quite a while that we normally wouldn't catch on to until they get bothersome.
Waverider is on the money.
Just because you have diabetes doesn't mean there isn't something else wrong with you.
My vote is with Waverider - consult a urologist.
"Can frequency urination become an indicator of our actual glucose level?"
Yes, somewhat, but not all the time. Going by the numbers you posted, which are very good, diabetes doesn't appear to be the culprit of your frequent urination. Go see your doctor, and possibly an Urologist, to check for an enlarged prostrate. When you urinate and it doesn't feel like you're emptying your bladder, or you dribble, or no feeling of force [can't put out a lit match 3 feet away; ie you fail the fire dept test] check your prostrate. Also, check for urinary tract infection, or an overactive bladder.
