my husband was 2 years post liver transplant patient, starting then the dr. advise him to have insulin injection .10ml actrapid 3x before meal and .10ml lantus before bedtime. But now we have observe that his blood glucose drop down, so we reduced insulin into 0.5ml, and still his blood glucose drop into 118-140, now we are confused if he still needed the insulin or we have to totally stop it. Hope anyone can give us advised.

First, congratulate your husband for his 2 yr PTP. I am 2 months shy of six years.

Please clarify and answer the following:
1. ".10ml actrapid 3x before meal "
Does this mean .3 before a meal or .10 b4 each meal, 3x daily?
2. "But now we have observe that his blood glucose drop down,"
I am going to assume you are seeing this with a home test meter.
When are you seeing this drop? B4 injection? After injection? After
a meal? And how soon after a meal are you testing?
3. When are you testing the blood glucose and what are the results?
    a. Fasting
    b. B4 meal
    c. B4 meal after injection [Actrapid is fast acting and designed to work
        within 60 minutes of injection]
    d. After meal 2-3 hours?

"so we reduced insulin into 0.5ml, and still his blood glucose drop into 118-140"
If this is 2-3 hours after a meal, this is normal blood glucose ranges for a diabetic. It is hard to say one way or the other until we hear back from you.
