psychotic behaviour

I am insulin dependant, most mornings I awake with a BSL of  2.0 -
3.5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls.  I had a CT Scan which showed no problem.  These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
Is it that my sugar level is dropping too much, therefore bringing these attacks on, could you please advise me further.

This episode I think is maybe because my brain is lacking the essensial ingridient, glucose! They usually only happen in the morning, sometimes they pass and I put them down to a bad dream but other times I physically get up and go on a hysterical rampage through the house, sometimes I hurt myself. I am I feel out of glucose but not energy.  My partner I live with does not have the strength to hold me down to take a blood sample. Would it be better if my partner just stuck a glucagon needle in me and ask questions later.

Does the episode stop when you eat?  Can your friend check your blood sugar during one of the episodes?
