Funny that you posted that today. I made eggs this morning and put them on toast. Unfortunately for me, eggs make me feel sick and I was feeling pretty awful a couple hours later.
Maybe it was the brand/type. I'll try some organic/omega6 eggs next time! I DO like brown, organic eggs.
Otherwise I just eat a bowl of plain, cold cereal. But I end up hungry pretty quick because it doesn't have enough protein in it.
Mikeg: LOL! You'll have to run fast to follow me! LOL! I don't stop for long......
Barb: I too keep hard-boiled eggs in my fridge. I rarely boil less than a dozen at a time. That way I always have them at the ready and can just grab one and go! I have found that my 15-year-old daughter loves them too and will often eat them over junk that her peers prefer.
Trudie: I love those eggs with the Omega. Whenever they are on sale or I have a coupon I get those for sure!
Msniki: Good going! That's a wonderful breakfast. Got your protein in. And the watermelon is super tasty and mostly made of water. Excellent choice!
Keynote: I used to work on a dairy goat farm as a teen and they also had many chickens. One of my favorite perks was the fresh goats' milk and the farm fresh eggs. Alas, the big city that I live in now does not have a farm fresh egg anywhere nearby that isn't sold at a store, but those were sure good days!
Khendrick: I also use eggbeaters to replace eggs in some baking recipes and such. But when I just want that boiled egg there is nothing like it. ; )
I love hard boiled eggs. Never though to keep them on hand what a great tip. Usually I only make it for sandwiches and stuff like that. I use a lot of eggbeaters with yolk for omelets and scrambled eggs. I have actually grown to like them.
I love eggs. In fact I just had 2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast today along with 2 slices of watermelon.
Love 'em. we get farm fresh eggs from mom and dad, what a wonderful healthy treat!
No carbs there either.
I have an egg scrambled with peppers and veggies almost every mornng. YUM
I love them and used to raise my own exotic chickens and enjoy their fresh eggs - boy do I miss them. You can now buy eggs with Omega 3 (or 6?) in it. They feed flax seeds to the chickens and it makes the eggs even more healthier for you.
I keep hard boiled eggs in the fridge most of the time and that's about all my stomach will handle at 4:00 am when I'm getting ready for work. Eggs are probably ok for most of us, but if anyone has a cholesterol problem, would be best to consult their doctor before eating them daily.
I seem to keep following you everywhere on here, lucinda!
haha I must say, Eggs ARE awesome. I didn't know that much about them, thank you for the info! All I knew about them was that they are tasty, easy to make, and that there are thousands of recipe's that you can make using them!
