Hi, it is not the one particular food that does damage but if you ate it again and again, over time you would put weight on.
So, don't worry, you probably have done nothing apart from putting on some water weight which can be flushed out with drinking lots of water.
I gave birth almost 5 months ago and I had so many cravings but instead of giving into them all the time. If I craved chocolate cake, or tator tots or something I only have a little bit and the craving would go away! I drank lots of water too to help that craving.
I hope that helps a little bit.
yeah i know.. but i don't wanna gain a whole lot of weight this time.. i am hoping to only gain like 15-20lbs at the most!
Also, you are pregnant!!! My gosh, I could not IMAGINE my daily caloric intake when I was pregnant....blame it on the baby, and forgive yourself lol
Don't be too hard on yourself. The best thing to do, at this point, is forget it......... You've eaten the sandwich, so forgive yourself and move on.
If you constantly deprive yourself of things that you really like, you WILL eventually cave and "binge" as with the sandwich. When that happens, just let it go and try to get back to "normal" healthy eating........
You'll be ok - just please don't try to "make up for it" by starving yourself, because you will end up doing more harm than good - not only is it hard on your health to not eat regularly, but you will end up binging again.
Good luck and don't give up...
yeah i know! it was a brand new sandwich... its kind of like a philly cheese steak but they used prime rib instead of the shredded beef.. im pretty sure it was like a 1000 calories.. *gulp*
I just read Denny's entire nutrition information and can not find the sandwich you are talking about lol Sorry!!!
