Extremely confused!?! HELP!

I have been using this app for 2 days now. Absolutely love it. But my cause to confusion is the whole calorie thing. I enter ever little bit that goes into my mouth and by the end of the day, I still have 900 calories (give or take) left to consume.  For example,  today I only eat 923 calories. So my question is... Will the lack of calorie intake effect my weight loss journey? I need to lose about 25-30 lbs and really don't want to effect the progress because of something so simple. I also am not trying to starve myself. I eat healthy and feel satisfied with the amount of food I do eat. Ugh!!!! I really need some help here.

You do have to pay attention you the calories you eat... If you eat too few, your body will start holding onto existing fat stores, because there isn't enough food coming in.

As boz said you do have to cut back on calories to lose weight, you just can't cut too many.  An adult female should not take in less than 1200 calories/day.

For a diabetic, you have to be very careful to make sure you're eating the right kind of foods, more so than the calories, which I'm sure you know is leaving out the sugar and simple carbs and eating lots of veggies and lean protein... you also need to be eating healthy fats, including full fat dairy and butter, and coconut oil (in reasonable/limited amounts), avocado, etc which won't spike your blood glucose levels, but will help you lose weight.

Here is the answer to this question. In order to lose weight, you have to subtract calories. Safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs/week, so in order to lose 1 lb/week, you'd have to drop 500 calories from your BMR each day (1 lb is equal to 3500 calories, so 500 calories X 7 days = 3500 calories or 1 lb). OR you can drop 250 calories from your diet and increase ...

According go my son you have to practically plan your meals for the whole days. Because when he cut back on calories he quit losing weight.  I know how you feel I don't ess eat that much either.  I'm also diabetic and I thought all this good I would end up in diabetic coma.  Actually though I have gone from five shots a day to two.  I haven't been on it long enough to lose any weight bit he lost 15lbs in a month plus he worked out a couple days a week.good luck.debmill
