Shape magazine 30 min express workout

I've never gotten Shape magazine.  I picked it up on a whim yesterday.  Today, I played hookey from the gym, and felt so guilty after lunch that I tried a 30 minute workout they had in profiled.  Supposedly burns 300 cals, but I always take that with a grain of salt.
This did make me work up a sweat!
It went like this:

#1.  2 min, march in place
#2.  2 min jumping jacks
#3.  1 min speed skater (just like it sounds, pretend you're speed skating in place)
#4   2 min jump rope
#5   1 min crunches
#6   1 min jump rope
#7   5 min--repeat #3-#6
#8   1 min squats
#9   2 min jump rope
#10 1 min modified push ups
#11 2 min jump rope
#12 6 min--repeat #8-#11
#13 2 min jumping jacks
#14 2 min march in place

this is great! i already am doing my 10 minute jump rope exercise (that i didnt do today because i was just too sore!!!) but ill try to do it tomorrow if not tuesday(my monday)...it sounds like it would be a really great workout...ill post back with how i felt about it.

My kids just started back to school & I work full-time so this is the perfect workout for me.  30 mins. is about all the time I will have to even try and squeeze in a workout.  I'm going to give it a try today after work.  Thanks!

Peek, I was just able to check this out!!! I really think I will give it a try and see how it goes! I bet I would feel like I was dying when I got to the end of this!

Wouldn't that be great to have an exercise program like this one that would include a baby?? hehehe like

#1 lift baby up and down for 2 minutes...

...and so on?

Let's see, I was able to do.....well, none of these! Lol

I believe that you would be able to burn 300 calories in this 30 minute routine.

Jump roping is great exercise.
