i read an article in a Glamour to be exact, about losing 10lbs just by sleeping I think it will really benifit you by helping you sleep i read that you have insommina(sp?) it gives great ideas on how to start a bedtime routine etc i will post it in a new post that way eeryone is sure to read it soo others can benifit as well i havent yet tried it but it looks like it will really help :)
The scale is not your friend.....don't rely on it to tell you how you are progressing - feel it in your clothes check yourself sans clothes in the mirror. Once a week is more than enough for a weigh in. Water weight gain is a big factor in the scale. Take it from someone who like you weighed once a day for 6 years straight while bodybuilding. It is an obsessive compulsive disorder, at least in my case it was. If you don't already have one get the scale that reads your BMI.
It sounds like you are well on your way to meeting your goals. Don't forget the diet aspect as well. It all intertwines.....diet cardio weights water mindset. Remember it isn't willpower it is mindset - hang something in front of you that you wish to wear upon meeting your goal - post pictures in places where only you can see them - or if your family is supportive - on the fridge! The positive pics not the negative ones.
You will meet your goal - you have the positive attitude going for you and that is trial #1!
Great fortunes to you,
Mushel

Listen To The Coach Twehenr
She is right about working different muscle groups. It helps!
Your post is really motivational for others!
Oh, ValRiggs, I'm so happy to hear how upbeat you sound! Yay!
Yes, sore muscles ROCK! It means you are BUILDING muscle. It means DON'T sit on the couch the next day. BUT, if you work out a muscle group one day, it is a good idea to go easy on that one the next and work a different muscle group. Like, if you work legs one day, work upper body the next. Still walk those legs, just don't do a heavy work out.
I'm so glad you are making progress. Thanks for sharing the good news!
