Motivational Wristband

Has anyone heard of the health conscious wristband, Pavlok? It is like FitBit. Supposedly it helps you break your goals into manageable tiny habits (i.e. going to the gym) and keeps you accountable to building them. I want to try it out. It sounds interesting!

I hadn't heard about it until I read this thread, so I did some research.  I'll leave it to the 2 of you... I don't think I need anything that shocks me to get me to do what I need to.

Yes, that's what I said -- it holds you accountable by shocking you.

Aside from that, there are a lot of other devices that already do a lot more than it does, incuding Fitbit.

This does allow you to change those shocks into vibrations or notifications. I like that it can expand to so much more. I bought one from the IndieGoGo page. I'm going to try it out. I have a hard time following through with commitments. I feel like this is cheaper than an accountability partner lol

Anything is easy to ignore, if you want to... lol

Good luck with it.  Keep us posted on how you're doing with it.  I'll be especially interested, 6 months from now.
