Ok when you are faced with anxiety and depression it's a double whammy so try doing a protein shake in the morning watch your carbs eat lots of greens and don't forget your water. Just keeping your carbs, sugar and salt in take low will help but cut your portions. Eat small meals and remember exercise will help with depression a healthy heart and some positive feedback back never hurts. Good luck..

Read a book called the Anti-Depressant Survival Guide.  The diet in it isn't very good, but it will give you ideas about how to deal with side effects.  Sometimes you gain weight on them even if you do the right things.  In your case, you're doing none of the right things -- bad diet, no exercise.  I think you have your answer.  Good luck.

Oh, and diet doesn't mean a short-term thing -- it means changing what you eat forever so it become your new way of living.  That way, changes last.  The easiest way to start is to cut out foods that metabolize into sugar quickly, such as white flour and other simple carbs, and eat lots of veggies.  And move!  You're young -- enjoy it!

Hello! I've had the same problem with my anxiety meds. What helps me is to try and drink as much water as possible to flush out everything. I drink about 4 water bottles a day!
