I have never heard of almond flour before, but now I'm intrigued with the idea. I've been trying to bake with whole wheat flour, which works in some cases, but sometimes the texture is compromised (with breads especially).

I'm looking for a good sugar substitute as well. Thanks for the links!  I have a friend with whom I share healthy baking ideas and tips, so I can't wait to give her this information as well. We've been trying to find a suitable replacement for sugar for awhile now.  It'll be fun to give these ideas a shot. :)

@Oythegreat I bake alot in order to know what is in all of my food.  I dont buy processed foor to much, it has losts of hidden sugar and carbs.  I have switched my white flour with almond flour and sugar with granulated xylitol & stevia drops.  I find that one on one they are not as sweet as suger and need to be combined to taste like it but together they work well to curb my sweets need. They do not have the bitter after taste of the sugar substitute's  and work very well in baking.

I never knew that there is a whole world of baking out there without regular flour.  I was raised you cant bake without it.  But it is so not true, I have done it and very well.  My family dont even miss it when I do bake they cant tell the difference.  I dont tell them.

Here are a couple of ideas & links on no sugar or flour sweets.

I hear ya!  I'm working on cutting out unneeded extra sugar, but I'm finding this to be really difficult. It seems everything has added sugar in it. I've already given up soda. I only drink water and soy milk (I'm lactose intolerant). But even something like yogurt tends to have a lot of sugar.

Lucey12, time to shrug off all those feelings of being unattractive and start out by feeling good about yourself. Personally, I've never been able to lose a pound when I felt unattractive and unlovable. Maybe it's just the way my life works, but I never start losing weight until I've gone out and bought 3 or 4 outfits that look great on me. Then, of course, I lose enough weight so I can't wear them anymore. :)

Maybe it's time to buy a new outfit that looks great on your 180lbs frame.

Well any time I complained about my weight he said, you did just have a baby, its ok. He still says He loves me the way I am but said he woudl like me to be thinnner. Im 180lbs now so when he said my best was when I was 100, Makes me feel like Im no good to him. I was depressed about it all day yesterday and finally after he was upset about me being so down, I told him after him saying that I feel like I have never been attractive to him and he said He still finds me attractive. He also said how HE feels very unattractive as he lost lots of muscle when he was in afghanistan. I didnt notice much of a difference on him but he does.

Right there with ya. I thought i had been doing good but i just found out, my husband was only satisfied with my weight when i was sick and only 100lbs. I dont think ill ever make him happy since thought i was happy and didnt feel fat then, i still didnt feel beautiful and have since een happy and felt beautiful but apparently my hubby still wants me thinner. he said my weight now isnt a deal breaker but he would just like me thinner. I feel so unatractive to him. i shouldnt since id like him beefier  but i just do. hats just my rant. good luck witjh the weightloss.
