Great question Val .. perhaps we can see about clarifying that better in the Exercise Tracker. I'll pass this on to MedHelp for their assistance.
Situps, crunches, pullups, squats, calf raises, dips should all be classified as calisthenics.
Lunges are weight training .. but will check on the category for this as well.
Situps, by definition, have been replaced by crunches so think this would go under calisthenics as well.
I'm not sure about leg lifts - will try to find an answer for you.
I didn't see it either but that's a good one.. I do have a question about the exercise tracker though.. Some of what I do isn't on there!! Or maybe I just don't know how to classify it??? But I work out on my ab lounge (doing crunches) and then I do regular crunches, situps, lunges, squats.. leg lifts.. What is all that classified as?? I wanna make sure I'm recording everything accurately.. I have just been using aerobics and entering the total amount of minutes I worked out with everything combined into that section.. Is this correct? HELP!
I didn't see it, but hubby shovels the snow. Yep, I'm spoiled! I would do it if needed, but I haven't shoveled so far this winter.
I can't vote. I didn't see it and it's cool for those of you that actually have to do that. Ranae, I know you do and since I used to live in IA, I know what it's like, but being in FL now, I'm relatively certain that it won't affect me a whole lot and if it does, I guess I'll have to move further south. tee hee. Good luck with it.
