Peeing a lot after dieting

29 male, 235lbs, 70inches

Last week I began dieting going from 4000 calories a day to half that spaced out over 5 meals of 3-400 cal.

Was always hungry so I decided to drink more water. Peeing frequency increased except it was odd. Most of the day I was urinating every 2-3 hours but when I get home its like every hour. I also wake up from sleep to pee once.

I was getting frustrated with the frequency 8-10 times a day so yesterday I cut water intake down.

Then things got weird. I drank only 52oz. 16oz decaf(switched to help urinate less) and about 36 oz of water.

All I ate was a half lb of strawberries. Oatmeal with peanut butter and flaxseed meal, kale cottage cheese and carrot salad at work.

I urinated once at 7am wakeup. Once 1230pm after my wall and this is.where it gets weird. 415pm 530pm 630pm 8pm and 10pm.

This has been.happening so I cut down on fluid intake and last drink was around 3pm yet I still peed so much after that.

Fluid intake was

10am coffee 8oz
11am 12oz water
1pm 12oz water
3pm 8oz coffee
3pm 12oz water

Each urination was a decent amount and clear but got darker and less of it later around 8 and it feels like I still have to pee after each urination.

Not sure if I have a UTI (get burning sensation sometimes after peeing).

If this is caused by low salt intake(body would want to get rid of excess water to avoid too low salt levels).

Body using glycogen stores because of dieting.

Or maybe this is all nerves?

Admittedly this is making me anxious. But I havent peed today since 7am and its 12pm now and ive been worrying all morning so maybe it's not nerves.

Hello, if you're still here, you need to keep up your fluid intake, in order to stay hydrated, but overdoing it is not good either...

Your urine is getting darker and burns, probably, because you don't have enough fluid in your body, so your urine is very concentrated.  

What kind of food are you eating that's leaving you so hungry?
