It may be harder to lose weight as a teen but I know you can do it. Make a Goal. Start with something simple. Make a plan. Find some spare time after school or at sports practice, and add an exercise routine to fill the gaps. Consume healthy foods and do not skip meals. When you snack, choose healthy fruits and vegetables rather than candy or chips. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. This holiday season, depriving yourself will only leave you feeling frustrated, so indulge in moderation.
Self control is important in weight loss. If you are really determined to lose some pounds, then you should control yourself. Watch for your daily calorie intake and exercise everyday. Take it step by step and surely you will achieve the weight goal you are aiming.
Start slowly. No matter how tempted you are to over do it. I lost 30 lbs a few years back by journaling. I wrote down everything i ate. I started cutting serving sizes a tiny bit each week. I recorded goals, weight, and calories every single day. I also started jogging a little every day until it became easier. Hope that helps.
