While there is no “one size fits all” solution to permanent healthy weight loss, the following guidelines are a great place to start:
1. Think lifestyle change, not short-term diet.
2. Find a cheering section.
3. Slow and steady wins the race.
4. Set goals to keep you motivated.
5. Use tools that help you track your progress.
It's not always about what you eat, but it can also be about how many times you eat, when and how. Yes, the way you eat can alsi influence your weight!
A good trick is to eat very slowly. It takes some minutes for the brain to tell you you're full. So, if you eat too quick, you'll get the message a bit too late, so you'll have eaten more than needed. You can look for studies about that. I'm very skinny despite eating junk food a lot, and the reason is most probably because I eat so slowly. Since I eat more slowly, I eat less because I get the message that I'm full before I ate too much, so I eat less calories. Taking it small bites and taking the time to chew your food well will help you. That's a trick I know, but I don't know about what food to eat haha. Though, be careful to not starve yourself or to eat too much junk food. Both cases will lead to health issues, and even starving yourself might result in weight gain (because your brain think ''since I don't eat often, better store just in case I don't get food next time''.
Another trick is to not eat past 8 p.m. Do not eat before bed, not only because the digestion will disturb your sleep, but also because you don't spend that food, so it'll be stored as fat. My boyfriend stopped eating cheese and crackers after 8 p.m and only this alone made him lose some weight!
Another healthy advice is to eat fruits and nuts for breakfast, instead of steak or eggs.
Also, I don't think 70 kg is too bad for 156 cm, I mean for your health. But again, I weight 41 kg and my height is 155 cm (but right now I'm underweight and very unhealthy, I want to go back to my usual 44 kg) and I most probably achieved that with eating slowly. Other advices about food should be taken into account since I'm no expert. But I know though that is it better to eat a good meal right after excercising and not before.
