Artificial sweeteners increase cravings for sweets/carbs.
POP is HORRIBLE for dieting. Reqular pop has over 20 grams of sugar in 1 can and just as many grams of carbohydrates! In order to loose weight you have to cut back sugar and carbs. Diet soda doesn't have sugar or carbs but it has something in it that makes your appetite increase! Just say NO to pop! You will be glad you did!
if you take sodas like coke zero ( zero carbs and calories!) it wouldn't hurt your weight loss that much. But people say drinking soda contributes to cancer, kidney stones, obesity...yikes.
