I disagree. I took phetermine prescribed by a doctor for six months. I also see a nutritionalist, workout 5-6 days a week, 3 with a trainer. I have lost 45 lbs over the course of a year in a very healthy way. The phetermine really helped me get my eating habits under control. I think the most important thing to understand is there are no quick fixes and you have to be patient because developing healthy habits doesn't happen over night. When prescribed and monitored by a doctor, medication can be a good tool to help you get on track. You have to approach it in the right way. Medication is only a tool, it's the choices that you make that determine the outcome. Good luck!
Totally agree with NekoChan... many pills don't work and even if they do, most people gain back all the lost weight, once they stop taking the pills.
Never use pills. Thats my advice. If you want to loose weight the best would be to refuce your daily calorie intake and exercise more than you eat. That was the quicker way for me.
