If it were an appendicitis, then the pain would get worse, without letting up. Could it be something else? They almost removed my appendix once, and I thought I was dying with the pain, and the ER doc said I was classic appendix- even my whit blood cell count was high- with rebound tenderness in RLQ. Guess what? I refused the surgery when the surgeon came in and said he was 95% sure it was appendix. I said he wasn't cutting unless 100% sure, and they admitted me in hospital to see if it worsened, and it didn't. By the next morning, the pain was still there but not as bad, and the surgeon said had it been appendix, it wouldn't have gotten better- It ended up that I had a ovarian cyst on my ovary that ruptured. The pain could be a symptom of something else. Female related if you are female(endometriosis, cysts, PID, etc.,or even bowel. Chrone's disease and ulcerative colitis causes that type of pain. Do you have other symptoms like diarrhea, nausea, cramping, gas etc. with the pain? Check it out before agreeing to appendix removal. That surgeon told me that over 40% of appendix removed end up not being appendicitis.
This is serious. By all means, go to the Doctor Now and get his/her advice. If you appendix burst you can get peritonitis and that is very serious. I don't mean to scare you but this is something that should not wait another moment. I wish you well!
