Chronic Appendicitis? HELP ME.

Off on and on since I was a child, I have had severe pain in my lower right side.  Well, the last attack I had was two years ago... I had severe pain in my lower right side, rectal pain, and loose stools.  They performed a colonoscopy and everything showed up fine.  Well, I am having another attack now... I have severe pain from my belly button down on the right side.  I have diarrhea or loose stools and LOTS of pain-- on my side and rectal.  I have a read of a condition called chronic appendicitis where it flares up and gets better and flares up and gets better-- and your White Blood Cells stay normal, there isn't any pain when you touch the area-- but once they remove the appendix-- the pain goes away.

I know this isn't IBS, because this is chronic pain... not crampy pain.

Can someone please help me.

I have a doctor's appt. on friday and I am going to ask them to remove it... but I am scared... further, I have no insurance...

If you can help me... please do!

I'm wondering if you may be describing a problem I am having.
I had a colonoscopy and polypectomy in early April.  Since then, I have had chronic pain-right groin area-about where the HUGE polyp was removed.
An abdominal CT scan showed nothing then, but the pain continues.  I had an upper GI and I don't think they found anything.
I see the gastroenterologist  Monday afternoon.  As far as I can tell no one has any idea what is causing the pain.
Any pain from the polyectomy should have healed up by now.  Any ideas?

I had my appendix out a few years ago (my god it was 10!). It was no problem. I was also a little scared, but the surgery was so minor I was out and back on my feet in a week. I couldn't lift anything but there was no pain and the doctors and nurses were all wonderful. Now it is such a simple operation I doubt they will even fully put you under. You won't feel a thing and it will be over before you know it. I know any surgery is a bit of a worry but you will be totally fine. Good luck!
