I have chronic discomfort in my right upper quadrant.
As my weight has increased, the discomfort has increased.
I recently went to the Emergency room and received an Ultrasound
that showed a few small hemangomas and fatty infiltrates.
The condition was further diagnosed by CT scan. Liver enzymes are
normal. The gastroenterologist's nurse called to say the tests
"just showed some fatty infiltrates" and that I will need to
"repeat the CT scan in three months".
I'm left with many questions?
Should I worry?
What caused the fatty infiltrates? I don't drink alcohol and I
am not diabetic.
I am 50 pounds overweight, will losing weight rid the fatty
deposits and rid the discomfort.
Does this condition cause pain or should I look further for
a cause?
Will something take the fatty deposits away.
Should I avoid any minerals.
Any advise will be appreciated
Thank you,
Linda Stringer
