I have had the same pain for eight years.  I have had all tests completed some 4 times with not result.  I also have diarrhea that seems to be associated with this pain. The diarrhea has been severe 3 times and put me in the hospital for 4 days each time with vomiting and retal bleeding with my diarrhea.  All tests each time are normal.  My latests tests that were completed last week, show everything normal.  It was suggested by my gastroenternist that I see a pain specialist.  The pain specialist gave me a shot (nerve block) but it is coming back.  I don't want to cover up the pain I want to treat what ever it is.  Each year the "lump" gets larger and the pain gets worse.  It is like hitting a nerve in your tooth if I or the Doctors press on it.   Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Sue
