What happens following gall blader removal?

My mother has recently had her gall bladder removed and wants to know how the body can cope without it - where does the bile come from/go?

Hi, my mom had gall blader stones in her gall blader and her gall blader was removed. This was in 1994.But about a few months ago in 1999, she had a pain in her stomach she was shown to the doctor and the doctor scaned her and found some stones in her. And he gave her some piulls and it was gone. The question I would like to ask is as the gall blader is removed where would the stones come and will the stones came back again ?

I had my gall bladder out in February this year and am still trying to get back to work but feel tired all the time and eating is still tricky. I can eat almost anything but get terrible flatulence and feel really tired and full.  I am having another ultrasound test at my local hospital next week but I dont think they will find anything abnormal.  I just want to feel normal again.  Does anyone ever feel normal after these operations?

hi my name is stephanie. I am doing a research on the gall bladder. I was wondering if you could replace the organ with an artificial one? Although this question may seem stupid, it can't be answered by any one else but my physician but he's gone on a vacation and won't be back for a while. You're the only one that can answer this question. I think i already know the answer to it but i just wanted to make reference, so i checked out this site. I really learned alot from the other individual's comments and it really helped with my project. Please answer this as soon as possible. Thank you.  05/24/00
