11 year old Brittany mix urinating everywhere!!!

I have an 11 year old spayed brittany/german shorthair pointer mix. She has always been house-trained and would rarely urinate indoors.  Since around May she has been urinating on everything!  Its not a leaking urination like incontinence, its as if she does it purposefully. She will still go outside and urinate too.  She has no problems getting up and walking around or climbing stairs.  She still runs and is otherwise perfectly healthy.  We took her to a vet and did blood work, urinalysis and fecal. Everything came back normal. Do you think this could be a mental problem? If so, what can I do!!! Its stressing my family out and I would be heartbroken if I had to put her to sleep for this.  She's as much a part of our family as I am! Please help!!!

Please see the post in this forum http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Dogs/just-got-a-4-year-old-yorkie-need-some-help/show/1365275

I now suspect that it is the dog vitamins that are responsible for the loss of housebroken behavior, not the stress I was blaming it on, the timing is right, but it is too soon to be sure.

When our dog had the same problem because of Cushings, we put a baby gate in the kitchen, and she was confined to kitchen, bathroom, laundry room cause they had lineoleum.  There was a lot less stress that way, and when she did go in the areas with carpeting, it was only under close supervision.  We took her outside constantly, whether she wanted to go or not.  We realized she could not help it, she was always perfectly trained in the house before she got sick, and had lost any control she previously had.  I hope you find out what is wrong with your dog, and that it can be fixed.  Good Luck

Yes she was checked for everything. She doesn't seem to be drinking any more than she normally would either...

Is she drinking a lot more water?  Has she been checked for Cushings Disease, excessive peeing is one of the symptoms.
