Another dog

I have a one year old male germand shepard mix. My fiancee and I want to get another dog. but we are not sure what kind we want. What do you think we should buy? We were thinking a golden retriever. Any ideas would help out greatly. thank you for you time.

im more of a medium-small-er dog......i have a boxer and she's too big for me!! lol....she easily get into food at the table or can reach stuff just standing on her back legs!......not to mention she drags me down the street when we go for walks....so, if i ever get another dog, i'll go for a scottish terrier or a schnawzer.....they are AWESOME dogs, very intelligent and MEGA good looking!.....

I personally have two alaskan malamutes and they are a joy.  I love my mals.  I recently lost a golden retriever to old age and am considering another one in a few months.

Golden are very loyal and very intellegent, they make great additions to the family.

I like both Golden Retrievers and Labs. I own a male German shepherd and you have to make sure the second dog is female and younger than your current dog. This was cause less fighting.
