Back problem in Dahchund

My dog has been having severe back or neck pain attacks.  When she has one of these "attacks" her nose and mouth area get abnormally cold.  She is being treated for her pain but is not improving.  Is this a clue that her vet may not be reading?

MY Doxie suffered with back pain until he had accupuncture.

Google IVDD (Intervertebral Disk/Disc Disease)...Doxies are the #1 Breed to develop this disease......Your Vet should know that!  Karla

Hi, you aten't being very specific but my aunt had a Doxie years ago with back problems. The Vet suggested hydrotherapy, putting enough tepid water in the bathtub so she could swim but you hold her underneath, or with a sling.  She did eventually improve.
