Glad to hear the mass was benign. Were any x-rays taken just to check for any other possible, suspicious areas?
It just may be nausea. Dud your Vet give anything for that? If not, you might try asking if you can use Pepcid and ask about the dose.
Old stand by is chicken (no skin) and rice, you can add a little broth, given in small amounts a few times a day. You might try some canned green tripe. It is nutritious and can usually be found in some pet stores now.
Hope she is feeling better soon.
Yes...blood and rays were done one week ago ..all negative . We have tried all foods... chicken. .tuna...roast beef...even canned from the vet; nothing. Under side effects Baytril says "anorexia" side effects . Just need to find that one ingredient to get here turned.
Ask about anti nausea meds
Anti-nausea meds don't work with this issue -- I know because my dog has the same issue with Baytril -- we tried several with no success -- I actually had to syringe food into my dog forcefully to keep him from wasting away and he was not on a very high dose of Baytril - the only thing we could do (short of injecting a feeding tube) is take him off this nasty antibiotic.
