Can my dog have a heart attack if she wad

Can someone please help. my dog was given  a half of vetmedin 2.5 twice today. In which she is only supposed to be given a half of vetmedin 2.5 once a day.  my husband forgot to tell me that at 6 am this morning he had given our dog her medications and at 9 a.m when he did tell me I had already given our dog a half of vetmedin 2.5 m.g. can someone please tell me what I should do? Im scared something might happen to my dog , although she seems to be doing ok. She had been coughing real bad all night and now her couch has quite down & she is now resting.  My dog is 14 years old & weights 14 pound. Its been 2 years now since my vet told me that my dog had a heart enlargement. Since then she has been taking a half of vetmedin 2.5 mg once a day , a half of furosemide 20 m.g twice a day and a half of tussigon twice a d day. The tussigon at first seened to calm her couching but up untill a week ago tussigon doesnt seens to be helping her with her couch. So she is forever couching it hurts me so much to hear & see her couching cause I cant help her. It looks as if shes in pain when she couching & it hurt me so much. Shes my baby & I wish I. Could take away her pain cause it looks like shes in so much pain when shes couching. Can somebody let me know  if it time for me to let her go & if she in pain. I really need to know this. I cant stand seeing her in this condition. Also if I should take her to see a vet on account of me giving her a whole tablet of vetmedin 2.5 today when she is only supposed to be given a half of vetmedin 2.5 once a day.

You should call your vet immediately. I started looking at the toxicity dose but m researching is wasting time. It might be okay. I don't know about Vetmedin overdose levels. But CALL YOUR VET RIGHT AWAY.
