Dog scratched me 20 days ago

Dog scratched me 20 days ago on the back of my thigh with his teeth. He later licked it a day after. He is up to date with his rabies vaccine and is due on June. The bite is fully healed right now and my dog is still alive and well and not showing any signs of rabies. But I sometimes feel a short (2 seconds maximum) pain on or around the scratch site. It's usually around the bite site. I haven't had a tetanus shot ever. Could it be infected even though it is healed? Rabies? My dog is up to date with all his shots! Please help! I observe my dogs and he is eating a lot, wagging his tail, walking properly, not foaming and not aggressive.

Your MORE than safe!!!! Nothing to worry about!! The Rabies Vaccine lasts at least 3 years and probably more close to 7! Your dog should not be getting it any more than 3 years!

Again, you & your dog are fine! If your dog had Rabies, it would be dead by day 10! You said this happened 20 days ago.....If it helps, I have been bit, scratched, mauled, 100's of times! Have scars all over me as proof!!!! I'm doing just fine & WILL continue to work in Rescue!

Have a great day & quit worrying.......Karla

Thank you! I tend to overthink and be anxious about this. I am ABSOLUTELY terrified or Rabies and I profusely thank you for putting my mind at ease. Have a great day too!

I was just recently diagnosed with vitamin deficiency by my pediatrician. I also told her about my dog scratch and she said that it is nothing since my dog has his shots. My dog's vet also said the same thing. I get pain all over my body, but not many and it's mild, like the one I get on my thigh. They said it's because I don't stretch my muscles, barely drink water, sleep in weird positions and my anxiety. But am still paranoid about it.

The pain is not really painful, it's a bit mild and they do not last long at all. They don't happen all the time, just rarely! Please answer! I'm panicking.
