HELP!

My 13 yr. old lab can't keep food down also seeing a lot of foam coming up with her food. I'm thinking she doesn't have the flu or bug, or she wouldn't be eating at all. She'll eat fine, but throws it all up with a lot of foam right after eating.

I wanted to share with you that I found a urn that is of the Rainbow Bridge Poem that I'm purchasing for my baby girl's ashes. Also, to thank everyone for their support.

Thank you so much for your comforting words. I had to put all her things away, or I just continually cry. My eyes are so swollen from crying and hurt real bad. I know I did the right thing and would never regret her. My friend did share the Rainbow Bridge Poem with me and it's a beautiful one. Thanks for the hugs and for being here for me. (((hugs))) from Lucky & me. She'd be so happy to know that I've a lot of support to help me get through this rough time.

It is so hard, I know.  Like with any loss, we have to struggle through the grieving process.  It is good to cry and let those emotions out.  As time goes by, life will continue it's journey but you will always have the memories of your special friend.
The reality is that most of us will probably outlive our beloved pets.  I have lost many over the years and it never gets any easier, but I have never regretted any of them and how they enriched my life in their own ways.  Now, I reflect on happy memories, funny stories, old photos.
It will take a while and life and routines will change.  The day may come when you are ready to welcome another companion into your home to love and share happy times with.
If you haven't seen it, do look up The Rainbow Bridge poem.  It often gives me comfort.
Hugs to you and we are here if you feel like you need to talk.

Thank you! She was my first dog. I'm having a real hard time dealing with my loss. When I woke up this morning after only 4 hrs. of sleep and came downstairs, the minute I seen her empty bed. I bawled my eyes out. I'm so lost without her.

Thank you for your responses. Unfortunately, she had mega esophagus disease, along with other underlying medical conditions that were secondary to the mega esophagus. Unfortunately, we had to put her down. So, it's a very sad day for our family. ;(

Could be bloat which is an emergency.
Yes, how long has this been going on?
Does the dog seem to be in pain?  Any drooling?  Stomach look distended?
Have you fed any rawhide, bones or similar things?  This is not uncommon if a dog has swallowed a good chunk of rawhide.
Whatever the cause, I would check with a Vet ASAP.

She needs to see a vet literally now! She could have a GDV (gastric dilation and volvulus) which is an emergency! She could also have a foreign body or something else, but she must be checked out to make sure it isn't serious!
