Happy Safe & healthy New Years to you & Doggy

Happy New Years to all of our pawed friends & their owners!
Dogs really struggle during fireworks. I guess they can hear so much better than we can. Here in Costa Rica the fireworks go on for 3 nights.  My dogs exhausted.  Please remember to protect your lovely dogs & cats from all that you can all year long. It's the least we can do to repay them for their devotion & love they offer us!
      Happy New Year!!    Pamela.

Yes happy new year, and as for noise I don't hear any noise for New Years, not even at midnight on December 31.  But I live in the "country"... then too our dog is deaf so noise has to be loud enough to shake the house to bother him... we get occasional thunder in that category.

Hello Pamela. Yeas ago there weren't any fireworks on New Year's Eve, but times have certainly changed. We live i a seaside tourist area, so there are always big firework displays on New Year's Eve, but thankfully that's it until the town hosts the World Fireworks Competition in September. We are really lucky though, because our two dogs don't seem to mind the whoops and bangs ... and one of our rescues even sits quite happily watching them. :) Tony
