Has anyone used MGN-3 (Biobran) to treat their cancer stricken dog?

I wanted to find out if anyone has used MGN-3 (marketed as Biobran) as an alternative therapy to treat cancer in their dog? If so, I would like to know what your experience was in using this product. I am considering discontinuing chemotherapy in my 9 yr old toy poodle in favor of the MGN-3. While I have found a lot of information on the web regarding the product itself, I have found little to no reviews from consumers who have purchased the product.

Hi there,

sorry not sure how effective it is to beat cancer but its the best product to get immunity working. I've tried it and I have never looked back at antibiotics since.
Hope it helps a bit.

Oh you poor thing. I am so sorry.

You had to try, had to give her all those treatments. You were trying to save her. I would most likely have done the same thing. If my dog were ill, I would do anything I could to help her. It is obvious you did. You were blessed to have shared life with your dog, and she was blessed to live with you, someone who loved her to bits.

You are right. It would be good if traditional medicine and alternative medicine worked together a bit more. I have had the good fortune to know a doctor, (an orthopedic surgeon) who worked in ANY field of healing she possibly could, to give her patients the benefits. She was the most open-minded doctor I ever knew. It would be nice if Veterinary surgeries also included alternative practitioners for those who needed them.

You have all my heartfelt thoughts, and I ask a prayer for you at this sad time.

Hi,

I'd like to thank you for taking the time to look into this and post a comment about. I'm guessing not to many people heard of the MGN-3 because yours is the only feedback I received. Out of desperation, I purchased the MGN-3, Arteminisin as well as some other herbal remedies. Too little, too late. I had to put my girl to sleep yesterday. Wish I'd known about these things earlier so I could have at least known for certain whether or not they would help. After spending $8,000 in tests, surgery, hospitalization, chemo, I still could not save my girl. It would be nice if the traditional vets would work together with holistic vets so that people could have the best of both worlds. Thank you again.

Hi Marci,
I just googled this because I had not heard of it before. I saw mention of 'customer testimonials' on a few of the sites that came up on google, so clicked on a few of them, and found I was led right round in a circle to a site selling the product (almost up to checkout in fact) and NO SIGN of customer testimonials, exactly as you found.

I'm not saying this product is no good. I have no idea. It sounds wonderful! But who knows...I am a user of herbal medicine for more or less everything (with a few exceptions) so am quite open-minded about many alternative therapies, obviously. Yet I somehow wasn't too sure about this.
But what might have held me back is although there is a lot of info -(and some of it a little pushy, saying this product may be soon no longer available, and one saying : " BUY NOW this product IS no longer available" -I couldn't find any testimonials......Now why?

I am a little untrusting of anyone desperately trying to market some product, so please don't let that tendency in me put you off. Also it is very possible I didn't work hard enough right now, searching out those customer recommendations.  I'd say ANYTHING is definitely worth a try if the cancer is bad, and chemo is too much to bear, or has been discontinued.

But do a little additional research too....that is I have heard that mushrooms, and mushroom products are not good for dogs.....(?) Am I wrong? It can be a little confusing, what is, and is not, ok for dogs to consume. And I am not sure about this. If anyone knows, could you please put me straight?
