Help 10 yr papillon CKD
My 10 yr old dog Niko a Happy energetic dog with some allergies and tummy issues but happy. Took him for testing. Abdominal ultrasound, nothing suspected. Blood work all fine except the ALP was 1147 high next was urine testing and found 5.5 protein level. Vet said possibly kidneys not filtering or cushings so did Cushing test was Negitive then ran blood pressure and was high adverage 199/126
So enalapril was prescribed but it seems to make him nauseous and not himself. So frustrating please if anyone has any suggestions please help. Oh he is also on the KD diet too. I don’t know if my vet is treating the right issue.
