my neighbors dog died so suddenly trying to find out why

ok my neighbor ask me to bring her three boxers out with water and food at 8:30 in the morning i actually brought them out at 9:30am and gave them water and food. at 11:05am my other neighbor came out side and seen the dog laying there dead. she was 1yr 1/2 to 2 yrs old she was black and white and her legs were stiff we are trying to find out what happened. when she passed she didnt poop or pee like when dogs that pass they normally do it was barlly any and now she is try to say that i neglected her dogs and its my fault she is dead. i dont think i did anything wrong i followed her orders. she didnt have any shade out for them and i heard the vet say that boxers cant breath in the heat because of there muzzels. but with saying that i didnt want to disobay her orders with her dogs. so my question is how could this have happened? and is it my fault?

Boxers are highly prone to heat exhaustion but the only way to get some answers is to have the vet do a necrosopy which may or may not be possible.

In the heat any dog really does need to have ample shade and water at all times.

Why were you bringing the dogs out?  Was she on holidays or at work?  Could there have been an underlying medical problems that neither of you knew about?  Neglect normally takes days, weeks or even months to kill the dogs - watch any resuce show and you see the horrible conditions that dogs have survived in for months.
