Papaya Leaf R tract for canine with low Platelets

Has anyone tried to supplement your Doggy with papaya leaf extract to help raise their platelets? My dog is diagnosed with immune mediated Thrombocytopenia which means his platelets is down to like zero and many bruises on him. He's been on Pred for a wk to help increase Plt but it's working slowly. I read a review at this website herbal papaya that she used on her dog n works. I would like to know if there's more info about this papaya leaf extract.

We have tried papaya leaf extract on our dog suffering from immune mediated Thrombocytopenia & it seems to work. But 4 months we have the same problem & we are now putting him back on the papaya therapy. Hopefully it works this time too rather than giving him Prednisolone.
