My Bassett has lumps below his penis
My male half bassett has a swollen area below but close to his penis...he is neutered and 5. He sees the vet tomorrow but I am very worried as I've lost other bassetts to cancer in the past. Is this common or am I just unlucky with male bassett hounds?
Is the swelling recent? Could maybe be some sort of urinary/bladder infection? Is he peeping OK?

I would definetly wait to see what they say, then let us know...I know your scared after your history w/other bassetts...so just see what they tell you..and post those comments, and go from there..
Plus, if you look over to the right of this forum, scroll down till you see "ask a vet", and Dr. Cheng, repost your concerns to the vet here on website, they are awsome in answering your questions..
