My dog is kinda popping?

It's hard to explain. You know how some people pop their knuckles, backs, knees, necks, wrists, etc.? Well lately there are times where I kinda hear my dog's back pop. For example, my dad was trying to pull my dog up closer to him in the chair, and we heard my dog's back pop. Is this ok? Should we take him to the vet? He's supposed to go for his yearly check up in May, so should I bring it up then?

Dogs are great at masking their pain. If you're hearing his joints popping then he probably has arthritis and would benefit from an anti-inflammatory medication. Is he elderly?

If your dog's bones/joints are popping/cracking, and if the dog does not seem to be in pain, I would definitely wait for the yearly appointment and ask the Vet at that time.  If the dog is in distress, I would make an appointment immediately.
